Yes, you read that right! Chaz here is going to be presenting the live action and commentating on the amazing machines that will be taking to the tarmac at CarFest North 2022!
The event itself is an absolute cracker - three days of incredible cars and machines being shown off to huge crowds and put through their paces on a narrow and challenging course - a lot of people refer to it as a mini Goodwood Festival of Speed!
The cars and the layout alone is enough to get car enthusiasts salivating, but when you couple that with the star-studded line up that is confirmed for the music festival side of things, it's just epic.
Ronan Keating, Steps, Natalie Imbruglia, Nile Rodgers, The Fratellis, Mel C, Gok Wan and even Craig Charles (yes!) will be taking to the stage across the weekend, and that's only the tip of the iceberg. You can find out more on the official website.
I'm super eager to get things started, and it's not too far up the road from me so it's not a long slog like a lot of my gigs. I've seen the entry list and am well into the preparation needed to give insightful yet entertaining points about each machine.
I have to give a massive thanks to the wonderful team at Loudspeaker Agency for the opportunity to cover such a mega event - my debut with them as well! I hope to do them, and everyone else who supports me day in day out, proud.
