Boremula 1 Season 2 Fast Approaching!

The second season of the CDM Boremula 1 World Championship is merely weeks away! Unebelievable isn't it?

Just in case you're thinking of signing up, there's a few things you need to keep an eye out for and make sure you remember before the season kicks off.

Entries

The process for entering the championship will go as follows.

Drivers that raced in Season 1 will be given a priority window of three days to apply for season 2, starting from the 5th of April 2023 at 6pm BST.

Following that, on the 8th of April at 7pm BST, entries open up to the public to fill remaining spaces on a first come first served basis.

Entrants must be familiar with the mandatory pre-season testing process, where drivers will be required to complete three 30-minute Qualifying sessions at Suzuka, Circuit Gilles Villeneuve and Spa Francorchamps. This will be broadcasted - last season's example can be found here.

Anyone that can't make the pre-planned evening of testing will have a 72-hour window to take part in an identical session, hosted by Chaz Draycott Media, to be completed in their own time, with their results slotted into the already-recorded times.

Painting Wheels

Drivers will have to paint their wheels a preset colour to match the liveries that have been tirelessly replicated for this championship. Everyone will be provided with a paint pack as well as the hex codes and required "finish" type for the wheels, which they must paint in the simulator's Paint Shop, but aside from this, there's no laborious work needed on the livery front.

One-Shot Qualifying

One of last season's most complimented and exciting segments of the format was One-Shot Qualifying which, while it took a while, made sure that grids were kept exciting and Qualifying still maintained some emphasis as an important session. It also meant that championship position was important throughout the entire season as well, as drivers would leave the pit lane in reverse championship order for each round.

If there are any further questions, or you're looking for more information, you should join the CDM Boremula 1 World Championship Discord Server, where everyone will be happy to help you and provide information and support.

The liveries and a trailer should be completed in the coming days, so the hype will continue to build!
