Season 5 with Goodyear FIA ETRC

With the season opener of the 2025 Goodyear FIA European Truck Racing Championship fast approaching, I'm delighted to share the news that I've been kept on for my fifth season as English commentator of this wonderful series!

I debuted with these giants back in 2021 with the first races taking place at the Hungaroring and since then I've commentated all but two race meetings and loved every second of it. The whole paddock is friendly and "together" in a way that words (other than "One Truck Family, I suppose) cannot describe.

The wonderful people at Wige Solutions and the European Truck Racing Association have supported me so generously since I was first recommended for the role by David Addison and I feel that this year will be more of the same.

At present, I'm not due to be on site until the mid-point of the season at the Nurburgring for the annual ADAC International Truck Grand Prix, but I'm still excited nonetheless. The full-time entry list is the biggest we've had in years, welcoming back old friends and newcomers to the paddock. After Misano on the 17th and 18th of May, the championship heads to the Lausitzring to complete a double-header, where we will race alongside the DTM, which will be fantastic, putting international truck racing on an even bigger stage.

There's good news for the friends I've made in Belgium through my time as a sim racing commentator, as I'll be heading to Zolder to carry out presenting duties as well as commentating on all the Qualifying and Races - it'd be great to put a few faces to names while I'm out there!

As usual, it's planned that I'll be on site for the season finale, too, which will as usual be taking place at the challenging Jarama Circuit just outside of Madrid in Spain.

I'm really looking forward to seeing everyone again, whether it be through my screens at home or in person at set race meetings and hopefully you can watch the racing live and listen to me talking about 100% renewable HVO Diesel on the championship's YouTube Channel!
