Away from the British Boring Car Championship and Chazlington Touring Car Championship, I've never broadcasted a third party iRacing League until very recently when the MyTurnRacing Sunday Night Trucks Series came to my YouTube Channel. So far there have been six rounds and I've broadcasted four of them, receiving good praise for my solo broadcasting and commentating abilities along the way.
That series came to me off the back of another broadcast I was doing elsewhere - the Vertex Stock Car Cup. Now, I'm very pleased to say that the same has happened again.
After seeing my work on another channel, I've been approached by the Scandinavian GT Series - a league on iRacing that (as I'm sure you can guess) races GT cars - specifically the Mercedes AMG GT3 as a one-make series. I'll be broadcasting their first season, the "Spring of 2021" Season, which gets under way at Spa Francorchamps on Saturday the 30th of January at 19:30GMT.
I'm really looking forward to covering this championship as I've commentated on GT3 racing before and it's some of the finest competition you'll see on iRacing. Compressing that down to a one-make GT3 class only has the potential to make the racing closer! As mentioned, the series starts at Spa, before going to Daytona, the Nurburgring and finally Circuit de la Sarthe!
