Truckin' On in 2022!

Anyone that follows my ventures - whether it be via my website or social media - knows that I have fallen madly in love with trucks and their incredible racing, especially the FIA European Truck Racing Championship, which I had the joy of commentating on in 2021! The whole paddock is filled with a really positive atmosphere, the racing is as insane as you'd expect, but the whole series is doing massive amounts to help climate change and to develop the fuels and efficiency adopted by the entire industry.

It looks like the love story is going to continue as well, as I'm delighted to announce that I've been asked to be the voice of the FIA European Truck Racing for the second year running. I believe that the guys at the series broadcaster, Wige Solutions, and I put together a great product last year, considering it was the first year of live broadcasting for the series.

I was lucky enough to fly out and meet everyone, including our main host Christina, at Misano in Italy for the season finale, and that's where this year's action will get under way on the 21st of May, with yours truly on site once again.

After that, we visit the Hungaroring in early June, followed by the Slovakiaring at the start of July. Two weeks later the Nurburgring hosts what's bound to be an incredible, fun-filled Truck Grand Prix weekend. There's a well-deserved break/hangover after that, with the next round at Most coming on the first weekend in September. We go back-to-back though, heading to Zolder just days later. There's a week off, then another back-to-back with race meetings at Le Mans and Jarama to round out the year in early October.

If none of that made, sense here's the calendar in a more visually-pleasing form;

I'm very grateful to have been kept on board for this championship, as last year's campaign provided me with some of the most enjoyable weekends I've ever been a part of, in motorsport.

The whole series will be broadcast live on the FIA European Truck Racing Championship YouTube Channel, so look out for links to the broadcasts and I hope to see some of you watching along as the season progresses.
