I'm excited to announce that, thanks to LoudSpeaker Agency, I'm going to be providing English commentary to some action-packed mouth-watering racing over in Europe this season.
My friend Chris Stevens is the current commentator for the Ultimate Cup European Series - a French organiser that has under its wing a delightful selection of prototype, GT and open-wheel racing, spread across endurance and sprint championships. As is often the way in commentary, another opportunity has come his way that's too good to miss, so I've been subbed in to cover for two race meetings this year.

The first is at Mugello in just under two weeks time and I cannot put into words how excited I am to be heading there. It's one of the most picturesque racing circuits in the world and always puts on a good show regardless of what machinery circulates it.
The second doesn't come around until September but I'll be heading to another circuit that's new to me - Motorland Aragon, in Spain! I was scheduled to go there a few years ago with Clio Cup Europe but COVID put pay to that. It's another circuit where racing is great regardless of what cars are involved.

Speaking of what cars are involved, Ultimate Cup has a bit of everything - the star of the show is the Nova Proto NP02, a V8-powered LMP3-spec car, that's over 100kg lighter. It looks and sounds wonderful with pace to match.
There's an LMP3 sprint championship too, accompanied by both GT Endurance and Sprint series, filled with all manner of machines from a GT3 Corvette C7, to brilliant Alpine A110 Cup cars!
It's going to be a great pair of very busy racing weekends with four different championships but I'm super grateful to Ultimate Cup and LoudSpeaker Agency for giving me the opportunity to dip my toes back into another wonderful corner of European motorsport!

Best of luck to Chris too on his upcoming gigs - check out his socials for what they are!
